MISS BERTA COLLAZO
Miss Berta Collazo passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at a local hospital.
Miss Collazo was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Pasquala Collazo.
Sister, Maria De Jesus Bernal.
Brother, Manuel Collazo Jr.
Uncles, Joe Nazario Barboza, Margarito Barboza and Jose Juan Barboza.
Aunt, Miss Francisca Barboza.
Brother In Law, Felipe de Jesus Zepeda.
She is survived by her brother, Antonio Collazo.
Sisters, Josefina (Pablo) Sanchez, Estela Collazo and Alma Rosa C. Zepeda.
Brother In Law, Jose Fortunato Bernal.
Aunt, Hilda H. Barboza.
Lifetime Care taker, Julia Cortez.
Nephews and Nieces, Jose Alberto (Mary) Bernal, Maria Felicitas (Juan) Bernal, Rogelio (Rhonda) Bernal, Sylvia Casarez, Juan (Susan) Bernal, Andre (Lolita) Collazo, Jorge (Wendy) Collazo, Audrey (Saulo) Pedroza, Jose Manuel (Yvette) Guerrero, Felipe de Jesus Zepeda Jr. and Hector Rogelio Zepeda.
Also surviving her are many great grand nephews and nieces, as well as great-great grand nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church.Committal services and interment will be held on a later date.
