BERTHA B. MORALES Bertha B. Morales, 69, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at a local hospital. Mrs. Morales was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arturo and Ramona Benavides. Brother, Dionicio Benavides. Sister, Armandina Benavides. Nephew, Roberto Benavides Jr. She is survived by her husband, Esteban Morales. Children, Esteban (San Juanita F.) Morales Jr., Arturo (Maria Zenaida) Morales, Felipe (Estela) Morales, Bertha Morales, Beatriz (Armando) Galvan and David (Barbara) Morales. 15 grandchildren Brothers and Sister, Roberto Benavides, Fernando Benavides and Guadalupe Benavides. Sister-in-Law, Juanita Benavides. Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held at a later date.
