Bertha Luz Solis, 59, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in Houston, Texas.
Mrs. Solis was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose P. Vedia and Maria P. Vedia.

She is survived by her loving husband, of twenty five years of marriage, Roberto Salazar.
Children, Ruben Solis Jr. (Cynthia), Roger Solis (Christina), Robert Solis, Ashley Salazar and Roberto Salazar Jr.
Grandchildren, Alyana Nicole, Kaylee Ysabella, Ruben Solis III, Aubrey Mae Solis and Roger Anthony Solis.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
