BERTHA VALDEZ
Bertha Valdez, 66, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Valdez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio and Faustina Portillo.
Son, Eduardo Valdez Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eduardo Valdez.
Son, Miguel Angel Valdez.
Sisters, Maria Guadalupe Diaz, Teresa (Juan) Cantu, Sylvia Portillo and Leonor Portillo.
Brothers, Jesus Portillo and Ignacio Portillo.
Caregiver, Irma Rico (Juan Silverio).
Also surviving her are nephews,nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and a Liturgy of the Word will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Committal services will be held at a later date.
