BLANCA AURORA S. RANGEL Blanca Aurora S. Rangel, 92, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011. She was born in Laredo, Texas and had remained a resident of Laredo for all of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvador and Maria Salazar. Spouse, Benito R. Rangel. Sons, Luis Alfonso (Bertha) Rangel Sr. and Homero Samuel Rangel. Daughter, Edna Lydia Rangel. Grandmother, Lydia Medrano. Sister, Martha Elizabeth Maldonado. Grandchildren, Edna Rangel and Josue Puente. She is survived by her children, Hector L. Rangel, Maria Antonietta R. Paredes, Efren Ramiro (Sonia) Rangel, Elvia Rangel, Benito S. (Laura) Rangel, Mario E. (Araceli) Rangel, Rosie R. Pina and Irma I. (Eliseo) Puente. 27 grandchildren 41 great-grandchildren 2 great-great grandchildren. Sister, Maria Luisa S. Perez. Also numerous other family members and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. with a Religious service officiated by Rev. Dorso Maciel on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Commital services and interment will immediately follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
