Obituary

Braulio Martinez, 92, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Mr. Martinez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a long life resident. He will be dearly remembered for his favorite Sayings, "Chipato" and "Dale Shine". He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herminio and Carmen Martinez.

Brothers, Herminio Martinez, and Ramiro Martinez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ana Maria Martinez.

Children, Ana Margarita Martinez, Braulio Martinez Jr., Luis Alfonso Martinez and Sylvia Veronica (Eric) Crowder.

Grandchildren, Brian Martinez, Miguel Angel Martinez, Samuel Crowder, Matthew Crowder, Sophia Martinez, Diego Martinez and Manuel Martinez.

Sisters, Margarita Martinez and Angelina Salazar.

His dog and Best Friend, "Princess".

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Rene Robledo, Rene "R.J." Robledo Jr., Gustavo Salazar II, Luis Martinez, Hugo Martinez, Merurio Martinez III, Cristobal Rodriguez and Braulio Martinez Jr.
