CANDELARIA MURRAY

It is with great sadness and broken heart to announce the passing of our beloved mother , Candelaria Murray, who was called by our Lord on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025.

Ms Candelaria Murray had been a long time resident in Laredo, Texas. She was a beautiful, caring, and loving wife and mother. A dedicated housewife who enjoyed gardening, listening to music, playing loteria and spending time with her extended family.

Ms Candelaria Murray is preceded in death by her parents (Miguel Tovar) and (Piedad Hernandez); her beloved husband of 54 years ( Cecilio Murray); sister (San Juanita Tovar) and brother ( Mario Tovar).

She is survived by her children Antonia (Ramiro) Torres; Maria Murray; Cecilio (Laura) Murray; Candelaria ( Juan Carlos) Ramos; Juan (Nora) Murray; Maria Elena (Jose Luis) Dela Fuente; Rosa Ramirez and Miguel (Marina) Murray; brothers (Miguel Tovar and Gregorio Tovar); 17 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Santa Rita De Casia Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
