CANDIDO L. GONZALEZ

Candido L. Gonzalez, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

Mr. Gonzalez was born in La Feria, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Maria Gonzalez.
Brothers, Santos Gonzalez Jr., Ricardo Gonzalez and Roberto Gonzalez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margarita Gonzalez.
Children, Maritza Willis, Mirta (Dickey) Rounsville, Candido (Karina) Gonzalez and Jennifer (David) Utterback.
6 grandchildren.
Sisters, Oneida Gonzalez, Sallie Gonzalez and Linda (Ricardo) Vega.
Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services were held on Monday, December 30, 2024. Holy Mass was celebrated at 12 noon at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Committal services and interment  followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery with Full Military Honors and presentation of the United States Flag provided by the United States Air Force Color Guard, United States Custom and Border Protection Color Guard Port Laredo and the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Randy Vega, Robbie Vega, Dickey Rounsaville, Caleb Willis, CBPO J. Warden, CBPO R. Gonzalez, CBPO T. Harris and CBPO R. Salinas.
