CARLOS PUENTE III
Carlos Puente III, 56, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Puente was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
He worked locally, for numerous years, at his family business, Carlos Puente Food Stores.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Puente Jr.
Grandparents, Carlos and Luciana Puente Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 24, years of marriage, Maria Angeles Puente.
Children, Erika (Roberto) Hernandez, Lucio Valencia, Carlos (Martha) Puente IV, Esther (Jaime) Martinez and Mark A. Puente.
Grandchildren, Alexis, Roberto Jr., Ruby, Nancy, Carlos V, Rey, Jordan, Angela, Ashley, Alayna and Harley.
Mother, Oralia Puente.
Brothers, Hector Puente and Sergio (Mindy) Puente.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
