CARLOS JULIAN GUEVARA

Carlos Julian Guevara, 77, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Mr. Guevara was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vidal and Felipa Guevara.
Brother, Guadalupe Guevara.
Sisters, San Juana Guevara and Maria Gloria Padilla.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia Guevara.
Children, Maria Inez (Luis Fernando) Aguirre, Olivia Raquel Guevara, Araceli Venessa (Luis Alberto) Aguila and Carlos Julian (Genesis) Guevara.
11 grandchildren.
SIster, Maria Luisa (Jose Luis) Gonzalez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m.in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a..m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
