CARLOS "PEANUT" LOPEZ Carlos "Peanut" Lopez, 38, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013. Mr. Lopez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a resident for all of his life. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Rene Lopez and Martin Lopez and also by his Twin Brother, Gerardo Lopez. He is survived by his parents, Candelario and Cruz M. Lopez. Siblings, Canderlario (Mary) Lopez Jr., Oralia (Abel) Pena, Gloria (Martin) Garcia, Ricardo Lopez, Gilberto (Laura) Lopez, Norma (Antonio) Teneyuque, Diana Lopez and Tomas Barrera, Javier (Mary) Lopez, Sandra (Oswaldo) Flores and Erica Lopez and Miguel Gonzalez. Son, Gerardo Lopez. Also surviving him are uncles, aunts, cousins, other family members and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
