CARMELA UVALLE MAGAÑA

Carmela Uvalle Magaña, 80, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Magaña was born  in  Rodriguez Nuevo Leon Mexico and had been a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded death by her brother, Alejandro Uvalle and by her parents Antonio Uvalle and Juanita Ramirez de Uvalle.

She is survived by her loving husband Gilberto Magaña.

Her children, Gilberto (Laura Leticia) Magaña, Jr., Martin (Juanita Elva) Magaña, Juan Javier (Elida) Magaña, José Eduardo Magaña, David Magaña, Oscar (Abigail) Lee, Gloria Valerie (Sergio) Guel, Michael (Mayra) Magaña and Myra (Esteban) Soliz.

Also surviving her are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Gilberto Magaña Jr., Martin Magaña, Juan Javier  Magaña, José Eduardo Magaña, Oscar Lee, Michael Magaña, Sergio Guel and Esteban Soliz.

Funeral services are under the arrangements of the Hernandez-Lopez and Son Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment followed an the Laredo City Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Gilberto Magana Jr., Martin Magana, Juan Javier Magana, Christopher Magana, Oscar Lee Magana, Michael Magana, Sergio Guel and Esteban Soliz.
