CARMEN SANCHEZ
Carmen Sanchez, 79, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Sanchez was born in Rancho Aguas Negras, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
Our mother came from humble beginnings and throughout her life was known for her strength, generosity and unconditional love. She valiantly raised four strong daughters and was a strong influence in their lives and in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
We will miss her dearly, but we also know that she will forever be with us.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Gallegos and Alejos Gallegos.
Husband, Jose Sanchez.
Brothers, Antonio Gallegos, Ascencion Gallegos and Nicolas Gallegos.
She is survived by her loving children, Rosa M. (Alejandro) Treviño, Carmen (David) Gammon, Francisca (Miguel) Tovar and Patricia (Roberto) Carrillo.
Grandchildren, Jeremy Joe Creason, Daniela A. Espinoza (Roberto), Alejandro A. (Nancy) Gammon, Carmelina C. (Sergio) Salinas, Angela A. (William) Nolen, Roberto A. (Amanda) Tovar, Monica (Chris) De La Cruz, Aimee A. Carrillo, Marco A. Carrillo and Clarissa A. Carrillo.
Thirteen grandchildren.
Brothers, Damaso Gallegos, Isidro Gallegos and Guadalupe Gallegos.
Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces , other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
