CAROLINA GALVAN Carolina Galvan, 81, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at a local hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband Zenon Galvan. Siblings, Gandencia Vasquez, Amelia Chavarria and Arturo Salazar. Parents, Estanislado Salazar and Felipa Martinez. She is survived by her sons and daughters Juanita Umanzor, Alfredo (Estela) Rodriguez, Dora Elia (Juan Gerardo) Galvan, Lyidia (Orlando dec'd) Guajardo, Gerardo (Monica) Galvan and Rosario (Raul) Martinez. 20 grandchildren. 18 great-grandchildren. 2 great-great-grandchildren. Siblings, Israel Salazar, Luis Salazar, Gloria San Miguel, Altagracia Salazar, Rosa Maria Rodriguez and Natividad Garcia. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces numerous other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to Dr. Milton Haber and Dr. Carlos Espinoza. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 at Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 departing form the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and Interment will then follow at the Memorial Garden Cemetery.
