CAROLINA TOVAR Carolina Tovar, 71, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at a local hospital. Mrs. Tovar was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her parents, Encarnacion and Guadalupe F. Longoria Her husband, Rene Huerta Son, Oscar Tovar Jr. Sister, Matilde Robles and Josefina Mendoza Brother, Raul Longoria She is survived by her children, Josefina (Jesus) Rangel, Ruben Huerta, Jose Willie Ramos, Emily Tovar, Evelyn Tovar, Steven Huerta, Martha Tovar, Hector Tovar and Veronica Huerta. 35 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren Brothers & sisters, Estela(Guadalupe) Gonzalez, Maria Alicia Longoria, Minerva (Juan) Amesquita, Encarnacion (Irma) Longoria Jr. Francisco Longoria and Jimmy (Hilda) Longoria. Also nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
