CATALINA RODRIGUEZ Catalina Rodriguez, 92, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Rodriguez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident. Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her parents, Catarino and Andrea Navarro. Husband, Jose Leandro Rodriguez. Sisters, Angelina N. Villarreal, Paula N. Garza, Andrea N. Garcia and her brother, Alfredo Navarro. Catalina is survived by her daughter, Micaela (Manuel, Jr.) Soto. Grandchildren, Manuel (Magda) Soto, III., Raul Soto, Graciela Guerra, Marisela (Jorge) Lugo and Christina M. (Agustin, III.) Mendoza. Great-grandchildren, Miguel Angel Guerra, Jacob Edward Soto, Marcos Raul Soto, Bobby Andrew Soto, Andres Alejandro Soto, Alyssa Nicole Lugo, Brianna Marie Soto, Liliana Noemi Lugo, Steven Joshua (Alejandra) Serna and Jose Alberto (Alejandra) Serna. Brother, Eduardo Navarro. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased was held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, September 4, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
