CECILIO CRUZ GARCIA Cecilio Cruz Garcia, 73, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Garcia was born in Rio Grande, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo for sometime. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Cruz Garcia. Wife, Alicia Reyna Garcia. Brother, Ruben Garcia. He is survived by his children, Cecilio Enrique Garcia and Marissa (Kenneth) Kluting. Grandchildren, Ricky Garcia, Alyssa Garcia and Kendra Kluting. Brothers, Andres (Irma) Garcia and Eduardo Garcia. Sisters, Teresa and Antonia Olivares. Sister-in-Law, Elva Garcia. Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends. In Lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez & Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
