CELESTINA HERNANDEZ Celestina Hernandez, 84, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. Hernandez was born in Taft, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leopoldo and Maria Ortiz. Husband, Sabino Hernandez. She is survived by her children, Nicolas (Juana) Hernandez, Jorge (Rosa) Hernandez, Yolanda Ortiz and Sylvina (Juan) Guerrero. 22 grandchildren. 61 great-grandchildren. Also several great-great grandchildren. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. The Family would like to offer a special thank you to Doctors, Adonis Zuniga-Goldwater, Benson Huang and nurses at Care Stat Buenaventura. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, November 20, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will begin at 11:15 a.m. officiated by Rev. Deacon Anastacio Bernal. Committal services and interment will immediately follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
