CELESTINO HERREA

Mr. Celestino Herrera, 99, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

Mr. Herrera was born in San Angelo, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rosalio Arce Herrera and Maria Victoriana Segovia.
His beloved wife, Guadalupe M. Herrera.
Son, Juan Carlos Herrera.
Brother, Norberto Herrera, Pedro S. Herrera and Emilio Herrera.
Sisters, Vicenta Santos, Hilaria Soto and Rosalinda Alvarado.
He is survived by his children, Sylvia E. Ballesteros, Jesus Celestino Herrera, Maria De Los Angeles Rodriguez, Rosalio Herrera, Adriana Mendoza, Gerardo E. Herrera, Daniel Herrera, Maria G. Herrera, Ana Laura Medina, Cynthia Melissa Cadena, Jorge Herrera and Dalia Castillo.
Sisters, Juanita H. Colunga and Hortencia Herrera.
Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
