CHARLES ESCAMILLA Charles Escamilla, 56, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at a local hospital. Mr. Escamilla was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and had a life long resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Escamilla. His Father, Heriberto Escamilla and by his Mother-in-Law, Margarita Gonzalez. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Gabriela Escamilla. Children, Valentin Escamilla, Samuel Escamilla, JoAnn Nicole Escamilla and Charles Edward Escamilla. His Mother, Maria Escamilla. Also surviving him are several brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the the Hernandez-Lopez ands Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
