CLARA D. HINOJOSA Clara D. Hinojosa, 67, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013 in a local hospital. Mrs. Hinojosa was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her husband, Romeo Hinojosa. Sister, Cecilia Maldonado. Parents, Jose De La Garza and Ernestina Ramos De La Garza. She is survived by her children, Romeo (Grace) Hinojosa, Patricia (Dean, Jr.) Wilkins, Clara Yvette (Juan, Jr.) Perez and Yvonne (Tomas) Hinojosa Garcia. 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Siblings, Jose De La Garza, Jr., Bernardo De La Garza, Margarita Renteria, Maria Luisa Vasquez, Hector De La Garza and Josefa De La Garza. Also by her dearest friends, Pat Reyes and Arturo Ramirez. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
