CLEOTILDE CAVAZOS "COTY" GONZALEZ Cleotilde C. "Coty" Gonzalez, 78, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. Gonzalez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a long time resident. Before her retirement she had been employed with the United Independent School District as a crossing guard for many years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Renato Silva Gonzalez who passed away October 1, 2011; by her brothers and sisters, Juilian Cavazos Jr., Ercilia Cobos, Miguel Cavazos, and Librado Cavazos and by her grandson Hector Godfred Bernal III. She is survived by her Sons Hector G. Bernal Jr. and Jose Angel (Lourdes) Gonzalez. Her Grandchildren: Jodie Lynn Gonzalez, Joseph Jacob Gonzalez, Joanna Carmela Gonzalez, Nathan Godfred Bernal, Allison Arias Bernal, Anissa Lynette Bernal, Hector Godfred Bernal III, Jonathan Godred Bernal, Vanessa Bernal, Barbara Bernal, and Hector Wilfredo Godfred Bernal. Brother; Jesus Cavazos Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 5, 2012 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m.at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment then followed in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. PALLBEARERS WERE: Alan Alaniz, Nathan Godfred Bernal, Joseph Jacob Gonzalez, Juan Ibarra, Jose Angel Gonzalez, Hector Bernal, Mauro Alaniz and Aaron Lozano. Honorary Pallbearers were: Fernando Cavasos.
