Obituary

CLEOTILDE F. PALOS

Cleotilde was born on March 28, 1944 in Cotulla, Texas. Cleo as many knew her was
a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who left
this world peacefully at the age of 80 on December 15, 2024 surrounded by her loved
ones. Cleo was a light in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cleo grew up surrounded by love and carried that spirit with her throughout her life.
She was a woman full of faith, warmth, kindness, and energy qualities that touched all
who crossed her path. Known for her loving nature and outgoing personality, Cleo
never met a stranger. her laughter was infectious, and her home was always open,
filled with joy, stories, and food that brought family and friends together.
Cleo had a unique way of making everyone feel seen and loved. whether it was her
endless hugs, thoughtful advice, or encouraging words, she poured love into every
moment. She was a source of strength and support for her family. Though Cleo is no
longer with us in person, her spirit remains. We will forever carry the lessons she
taught us; to love without limits, laugh without hesitation, and live life to its fullest.


Mrs. Palos is preceded in death by the love of her life, Reynaldo Palos, Sr.
Her parents, Juan and Isabel Farias, In-laws Juan and Aurora Palos, brother Juan
Farias, sisters, Yolanda (Valente+) Pelaez, Irma (Alfredo+) Delos Santos, Teresa
(Antonio+) Ramirez.


Left to cherish her memories are her children, Veronica (Daniel) Cruz, Reynaldo
(Lorraine) Palos, Jr., Hector (Lydia) Palos and Jerry (Alejandra) Palos
Her grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Jessica (Javier) Gonzalez, Maranda
(Joey) Davalos, Amber Palos, Ashley Palos, Pamela Palos, Amy Ayala, Natalie Palos,
Hailey Palos.
Her great- grandchildren who she adored, Joaquin Javier Gonzalez and Morgan Lee
Davalos.
Siblings Rosario (Manuel+) Arzamendi and Roberto (Mari) Farias.
Her sister-in-law, San Juanita (Victor+) Trevino.
Also surviving her are numerous of relatives and many friends.


The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Holy Savior Hospice,
especially to her nurses Salome, Christy and Sofia for their endless care they provided
to her. As well as to her caregivers, Leo and Ana.
Cleo will be missed deeply, but her love will live on in all who were blessed to know
her.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, December 23, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Jerry Palos, Javier Gonzalez, Victor Trevino Jr., Jerry Ramirez, Javi Arzamendi, Cesar De Los Santos, Daniel Cruz and Reynaldo Palos Jr.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Joaquin Gonzalez, Judge Danny Valdez, Roberto Farias, Hector Palos, Belinda Granados,Freddy De Los Santos, Ricky Arzamendi and Jerry Arzamendi.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
