CONCEPCION PESCADOR MARTINEZ
Rodeada de sus hijas y familiares, Dios llamo al cielo a nuestra querida madrecita. Nuestra madre fue una gran mujer valiente y guerrera que lucho incansablemente toda su vida por nosotras, sus hijas. Ella fue una gran madre, abuela y bisabuela en todo su momento. Nuestra madre a su manera supo tocar corazones y fue una mujer muy querida por toda su familia y amistades. Dios la llamo a su reino, pero en nuestras pensamientos, memorias y corazones guardaremos por siempre su gran inmenso amor.
Concepcion Pescador Martinez, 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Pescador Martinez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Guadalupe Martinez Perez, who passed away in 1971.
Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor and Guadalupe F. Pescador.
Sisters, Ramona Pescador and Maria Pescador Ibarra.
Brother, Guadalupe Pescador and Victor Luis Pescador.
She is survived by her children, Alejandra (Pedro) Martinez Bernal, Maria (Francisco) Martinez Arriaga, Elsa Cecilia (Efren) Martinez Romero, Maria Lourdes Martinez and Isabel Ibarra.
Grandchildren, Heriberto Peña Jr., Alejandro A. Peña, Gabriella A. Rodriguez, Francisco J. Arriaga Jr., Alberto G. Arriaga, Karina Arriaga, Efren Agustin Romero, Emanuelle Romero and Elias Romero.
8 great-grandchildren.
Brothers, Manuel (Vianey) Pescador.
Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous other relatives and many friends.
Mrs. Martinez's family would like to mention a special "Thank You" to her caregivers, Carolina Enriques, Maria Angela Ramos, Carmen Martinez and Alcira Norato for their compassion and special care.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services will follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
