Concepcion A. Salinas, 81, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Salinas was born in Houston, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Martha Avalos.

Sons, Guadalupe Salinas Jr. and Jose Salinas Sr.
Grandson, Luis Rey Salinas.
Sister, Esperanza Guerra.
She is survived by her daughter, Marisela A. Salinas (Juan Madrid).
Grandchildren, Steven (Debbie) Salinas, Delia (Rudy) Mendoza, Jose (Elizabeth) Salinas Jr., Robert Rey (Jessica) Salinas, Jose Gonzalez Jr., Adriana Madrid, Jesus Salinas, Felipa (Luciano) Torres, Roberto Salinas, Flor Salinas, Sergio (Cindy) Salinas, Michael (Dalia) Salinas and Erica (Robert) Villegas.
Daughter-in-Law, Rosalinda Salinas.
Brother, Pete (Santos)Avalos.
Sister, Ida Huerta.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery
