He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Eliza I. Rodriguez and by his parents,

Mother, Ladislada Lopez de Rodriguez and Father, Santiago Rodriguez, also  by his brothers, Heriberto Rodriguez, Jose Angel Rodriguez, Calixto Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Santiago Rodriguez Jr., Jesus Mateo Rodriguez and by his sisters, Maria De La Luz Ramon and Maria Guadalupe Alcocer.

He is survived by his children, Melissa Rodriguez and Roberto R. Rodriguez.

Grandchildren, Karina M. Rodriguez, Roberto R. Rodriguez Jr., and Kassandra M. Rodriguez.

Great Grandchildren, Kendra, Roberto and Kylee Lucio.

Brother, Jose Rodriguez.

Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and a Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels located at 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral Services will begin on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. February 27, 2025 departing in procession from the funeral home Chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church.

Committal Services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery with full Military Honors and presentation of the United States Flag  provided by the United States Army Honor Guard and the American Legion Post 59.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels located at 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
