CONSUELO V. ARRIAGA Consuelo V. Arriaga , 94, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Arriaga was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eulogio and Martina Vasquez. Her loving husband, Valeriano Arriaga Sr. Sons, Valeriano Arriaga Jr. and Eulogio Eliasar Arriaga. Daughters, Ida Minerva Venegas, Rachel Arriaga, and Ruth Mata. Brother, Estevan Vasquez. Grand daughter, Bernice Arriaga. Survived by her children, Consuelo Aurora Arriaga, Juan Joel (Andrea) Arriaga, Martha (Albert) Macias, Ennie (Fred) Tovar, Rachel Seca and Elma Arriaga. 42 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grand children . Sisters, Juana Robles and Esther Vasquez. Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Hospice Nurses and her care-giver Janie Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 18, 2015, from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral Services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
