CONSUELO G. TORRES
Consuelo G. Torres, 89, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Torres was born in Michoacán, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, of 52 years of marriage, Pablo Torres, who passed away on November 13, 2009.
Daughter, Maricela Torres Garza, who passed away on April 4, 2005.
Son, Pablo Torres Jr, who passed away on November 13, 1987.
Parents, Jesus and Vicenta C. Garcia.
She is survived by her son, Armando Torres.
Daughters, Grace (Juan) Dominguez, Maria Isabel De La Fuente (Juan Banda).
Step Son, Antonio "Tony" (Alicia) Torres.
Daughter-in-Law, Rosa Maria Zuniga.
Grandchildren, Pablo (Cindy) Torres, Claudia Torres, Priscilla Torres, Armando Torres Jr., Daniel (Michelle) Dominguez, Juan Jose Jr., Keilina Dominguez, Juan Miguel De La Fuente, Guillermo Torres, Monica Garza, Marcos (Grace) Garza, Marissa Garza, Rolando Garza, Anthony Torres, Stephanie Torres and Justin Torres.
13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Siblings, Jesus (Esperanza) Garcia, Felicitas (Manuel+) Perez and Isabel (David+) Buenrostro.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018, with a procession departing the funeral home at 9 a.m. Graveside services will then conclude at the Laredo City Cemetery at 9:30 a.m.
