Obituary

CONSUELO "CHELO" HINOJOSA
Consuelo "Chelo" Hinojosa, 82, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Hinojosa was born in Moctezuma, San Luis Potosi, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dario and Felicitas Ruiz.
Husband, Jesus Hugo Hinojosa.
Son, Oscar Hugo Hinojosa.
Granddaughter, Evylin Hinojosa.
Brother, Herminio Ruiz, Rodolfo Ruiz and Gelacio Ruiz.
She is survived by her children, Alma Gloria (Eluterio Garza) Hinojosa and Ivan  Osvaldo (Rosaura) Hinojosa.
Grandchildren, Gloria Lee (Chae Hoom) Kim, Antonio (Jo Ann) Jinez, Delize Jinez, Ivan (Lizette) Hinojosa Jr., Brenda Karin (Tony) Flores, Angel Eduardo Hinojosa and Joel Alberto Hinojosa.
Great-grandchildren, Caleb Kim, Carrie Lee Kim, Andy Jinez,Anthony Flores, Andrew Flores, Adam Flores, Ivan Hinojosa III, and Jasiel Hinojosa.
Brother, Dario (Maria) Ruiz.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the H ernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
