CONSUELO B. LAYTON
Consuelo B. Layton, 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
Mrs. Layton was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Florencio and Angelita Reyna.
Brothers, Francisco Barron and Jose Blas Barron.
Sisters, San Juana Rodriguez, Maria Puente and Josefina Barron.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 55 years of marriage, Victor Layton.
Children, Esmeralda (Roque) Salinas, Elizabeth (Javier) Castillo, Victor (Mayra) Layton Jr., Samuel (Maria del Carmen) Layton, Jacqueline Layton, Marguerite Layton, Daniel Layton, Victoria (Esteban) Rosales.
15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Siblings, Maria de Jesus Barron, Juanita Olvera, Maria de los Angeles Piña, Florencio Barron Jr. and Jose Daniel Barron.
Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Victor Layton Jr., Samuel Layton, Abraham Salinas, Ricardo Merito Jr., Javier Castillo Sr., Esteban Rosales, Reynaldo Ortiz and Gabriel Hernandez.
