CONSUELO RODRIGUEZ Consuelo Rodriguez, 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 17th 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Rodriguez was born in Joyce, Texas and resided in Laredo, Texas for all her life. Mrs. Rodriguez was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a very outgoing, positive attitude, happy friendly person who love to help people and was admired by many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Jose Rodriguez, her parents; father, Marciano Orozco, mother, Nicolasa Orozco and her brother, Eduvijes Orozco. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jesus Jose Rodriguez, Jr., Sandra V. Hernandez (Javier), Sara V. Navarro (Roberto), Selma V. Correas (Orlando), Juan J. Rodriguez (Letty) and Sylvia V. Chairez (Martin). 16 grandchildren, Roxanne, J.R., Monica, Erica, Jessica, Roberto, Abi, Jorge, Wilber, Barbara, J.J., Tanya, Juanito, Emily, Daniella and Kassandra. 10 great-grandchildren. Brother, Jose. Sisters, Estela, Maria and Lupe and her friend, David Cruz. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. A special heartfelt gratitude to her physicians: Dr. Roberto Gomez-Vasquez, Dr. Eduardo Gomez-Vasquez, Dr. Jorge Gomez-Vasquez, Dr. Jose Gomez-Vasquez, also Omar Gutierrez, 3rd Floor, ICU Section B and cafeteria staff from Doctors Hospital, Champion Health Care for their attention and professional care. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin on Friday morning, December 20, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
