Daniel Sanchez, Jr., passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the age of 63. Daniel was a life
long resident of Laredo, Texas but had lived in Victoria, Texas for the past 7 ½ years and
recently moved to Corpus Christi. Daniel was a hard worker from a very young age. He
dedicated 35 years to CenterPoint Energy in Laredo and Victoria from where he had recently
retired. It is with CenterPoint Energy where he gained a world of knowledge, experience and
expertise in the oil, gas and construction industry. He was awarded many awards for his hard
work, dedication and expertise in the gas and construction industry. Throughout his years he put
into action his expertise with Select Energy, Louisiana Crane, and Anadarko Petroleum. Daniel
loved spending time with his young grandchildren watching cartoons and making or buying their
favorite snacks. He spent many hours and, in every opportunity, giving the older ones as much
advise as he possibly could that would help them towards successful futures, opportunities and
education. He coached them to never give up in life. Danny, as many would address him by was
admired for his always starched, and neat dressing. Whether it was work, leisure, or going out
wear, he was starched to a fault. He was known for his high-priced polished cowboy boots, hats,
and matching belts. He loved to dance and sing every beat and note of Tejano and Country
Music. As a devoted Catholic, you can rest assure that wherever he lived, he would find a church
to go to. He was a very outgoing and generous man.
