Daniel Lopez, 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 in Laredo, TX.

Mr. Lopez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a lifelong resident of Laredo, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Socorro Lopez; his daughter, Sarah Ashley Lopez; his 2 brothers, Juan Lorenzo Lopez and Ernesto Lopez; and his 3 sisters, Rosario Martinez, Patricia Angelica Garza, and Norma Alicia Lopez.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Leticia (Cynthia Salazar) Lopez, Adriana (Gilberto) Garza, Eduardo (Ogilvia) Lopez, Carlos (Norma) Lopez, and Isabel Carrera.

His wife, Belgica G. Lopez.

His 5 children, Claudia Lopez, Jennyann Lopez, Daniel Lopez Jr., Matthew Lopez, and Alexandra Lopez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 12 noon in Hernandez-Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St, on San Bernardo Ave. Committal Services and interment will follow at a later date.
