DANIEL MANZANARES Daniel Manzanares, 77, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015 at a local hospital. Mr. Manzanares was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. He is preceded in death by his parents, Romulo and Maria Manzanares. 1st wife, Maria Inez Manzanares. Brothers, Cesario Manzanares, Romulo Manzanares, Juan Hernandez and Alberto Esparza. Sisters, Constantina Ledesma, Susana Soto and Margarita Manzanares. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Concepcion Manzanares. Children, Daniel Manzanares Jr., Maria Marisol Manzanares (Marcelino Hinojosa), Jesus David Manzanares (Elisa Nino), Patricia (Jose) Villafranco, Marisela (Richard) Garcia and Anna (Luis) Cortinas. 14 grandchildren. Brothers, Carlos (Martha) Manzanarez and Silvestre Manzanares. Sisters, Ofelia Mata, Irene Rodriguez, Lucia Villarreal and Maria De los Angeles Adame. Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 23, 2015 from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
