DANIEL " DANNY" NUNEZ
October 17, 1963 – April 03, 2021
Daniel of "Danny" as he was known by all his family and friends, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Laredo Medical Center at the age of 57.
Danny was born San Diego, Texas and was a resident of Laredo for most of his life.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. Danny was well known throughout Laredo, by friendships he developed throughout the years. Danny was loved by all his nieces and nephews as he would always entertain them with his wild and colorful stories. One of his many favorite Bible verses was " For thou Art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy namesake lead me and guide." Psalms 31:3.
Danny is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Raymond "Ramon" S. Nuñez Sr.
and brother, Jesus E. Nuñez.
He is survived by his mother Mrs. Delfina S. Nuñez.
Brothers, Ramon (Delia) Nuñez Jr., Noe (Sonya) Nuñez, Abel (Sandra) Nuñez and Roel Nuñez.
Sisters, Laura L. (Jesse) Layton, Brenda (Rene) Cisneros, Linda Torres and Sandra I. (Angel Jr.) Garza.
Sisters-in-Law, Thelma Nuñez (Jesus+).
As well as, 21 nephews and nieces and numerous grand nephews and nieces who loved him very much.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a religious service, officiated by Pastor Homero Segundo, will be Officiated at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A religious service, also officiated by Pastor Homero Segundo, will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
