DELIA AMBROS GARCIA
Delia Ambros Garcia, the feistiest old woman that we could ever and will ever know, passed away on July 8, 2018. Despite her multiple ailments, her tenacity and resilience lived in her to the very end...#warrior, #quierotripas, #threwthefingeratthenurse, #mostbeautifulbuelaever. Delia, aka Moringa, Ama, and Buela will be missed beyond words and loved forever.
Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her parents, Anacleto and Santos Olivares.
First beloved husband, Leandro Ambros.
Second beloved husband, Alejandro Garcia.
Sister, Alicia Lopez.
Brothers, Guadalupe Olivares and Anacleto Olivares Jr.
She is survived by her children, Gloria (Antonio) Bernal Jr. and Leandro Ambros Jr.
Grandchildren, Antonio Bernal III, Noemi (Fermin) Garcia IV, Sonia (Rudy) Murillo, Cassie Bernal, Kathy (Barry) Collins, Crystal (Isaac) Flores, Sara Ambros and Jessica Ambros.
9 great grandchildren.
Sisters, Maria Vallejo, Concepcion Granado, Teofila (Aquilino) Juarez and Estela (Pedro) Guardiola.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
The family asks that that in honor of Delia guests wear purple in any way, shape or form, her favorite color.
Delia is now in the arms of God where she will live for eternity. She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday." – author unknown
We will celebrate her life on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Religious Service, officiated by Pastor Leandro Ambros Jr., will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Committal services will be held on a later date.
