Delia G. Garza, 83 passed away in her residence on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Laredo, Texas.

Delia Garza is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andres and Luisa G. Garza.

Brothers, Francisco Garza, Guillermo (Lorenza) Garza and Andres (Lidia) Garza.

Sister, Andrea Lerma.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 63 years of marriage, Pedro Garza.

Brother, Manuel (Amalia) Garza.

Daughters, Alma (Jorge) Rodriguez , Amparo (Jorge) Loera, and Laura (Rudy) Garcia.

Sons, Pete (Graciela) Garza, Gerardo (Cynthia) Garza, Luis (Yolanda) Garza, and Rene (Veronica) Garza.

17 Grandchildren, Kristy Garza, Luis (Alicia) Garza Jr., Abon Jorge Loera III, Andres Loera, Abraham Loera, Rene Garza Jr., Erica Garza, Ricky Garza, Annyssa Lynn (Robert) Solis, Edward Rudy Garcia Jr., Jesse Garcia, Gerardo (Haydee) Garza Jr., Alejandro Gabriel Garza, Roman Ezra Garza, Albert Garza, Edna (Adan) Garcia, and Iris (Jesus) Vasquez.

5 Great-grandchildren, Lauren Julet Solis, Roberto Alfonso Solis, Briana Irene Vasquez, Elizabeth Delaney Garcia, and Esteban Daniel Garcia.

Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

The Garza family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Daria Castillo (Provider), Morning Glory, Doctors Hospital Infusion Center, CIMA Hospice, Garza Medical Associates, Dr. Cesar Tula, Dr. Stuart Selena and Dr. Mohsen Ghadimi-Mahani.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church.  Committal services and interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
