DIANA LOURDES GARZA Diana Lourdes Garza, 54, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at a local hospital. Mrs. Garza was born in Eagle Pass, Texas and had been a life long resident in Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio Elizondo Macias, grandmother, Hortencia Esquivel De Barba, maternal grandfather, Miguel Barba Pena and paternal grandparents, Carmen and Onesimo Elizondo. She is survived by her loving husband, Javier Emilio Garza of 27 years of marriage, Children, Jacquelyn (Victor) Jacques, Jose Antonio Garza, Cristina Garza and Miguel Angel Garza Grandchildren, T. J. Garza, Karolina Garza, Victoria Jacques and Santiago Jacques. Mother, Rosa Elena Barba de Elizondo Brothers and Sisters: Rosa (Richard) Gonzalez, Margarita (David) Nelson, Onesimo (Maria) Elizondo, Hortencia (Ricardo) Perez and Sara (Daniel) Olla. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that donation be made to cover funeral expenses. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
