Diego Pequeño's Obituary
DIEGO PEQUEÑO
Diego Pequeño, 75, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020.
Mr. Pequeño was born in Villa Hidalgo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicomedes and Francisca Pequeño.
Sister, Ernestina Galvan.
Brothers, Pedro Vasquez and Cesario Vasquez.
He is survived by his companion, Lucresia Castillo.
Children, Nora (Luis Carrera) Pequeño, Esmeralda Pequeño, Veronica (Aaron Cordova) Pequeño and Diego Pequeño Jr.
10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
