Dora E. Reyes, 80, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Mrs. Reyes was born in Columbia, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Josefina Serna.

Daughter, Nora Alicia Reyes.

Brothers, Rodolfo Serna, Francisco Serna, Rogelio Serna, Eloy Serna and Jose Serna.

She is survived by her loving husband, Magdaleno Reyes.

Children, Blanca E. Reyes, Dora Elia Reyes and Magdaleno (Thelma) Reyes Jr.

5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Sisters, Maria Estela Serna, Delia Serna, Graciela Gonzalez and Maria Serna.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
