DORA ELIA MATA

Dora Elia Mata, 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Mata was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo Jalomo and Hilaria Jalomo.

Her beloved husband, Humberto Mata.

Brothers, Eduardo Jalomo Jr., Elifonso Jalomo and Juan Jose Jalomo.

Sister, Rosalinda Medina and Maria Gonzalez.

She is survived by her children, Roberto (Shirley) Martinez, Stephany (Jesus Eduardo) Sanchez.

6 grandchildren, Natalie Martinez, Zoe Martinez, Olivia Martinez, Joe Campos, Jorge Campos and Sophia Sanchez.

Brothers, Daniel (Francisca) Jalomo.

Sister, Concepcion (Arturo) Lara and Santa Paez.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Following the ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 8:05 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
