EDUARDO "LALO" FLORES

Eduardo "Lalo" Flores, 86, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Flores was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He had been employed with the Webb County Road and Bridge as a heavy machine operator for many years. Music was his passion and he learned to play numerous instruments.

He is survived by his children, Maria Inez (Louis Jr.) DiGiovanni, Christina (Wade) Dyer, Michael Anthony (April) Flores and Sophia Inez (William Richard Jr.) Muñoz.

His grandchildren, Louis DiGiovanni III., Leah Vera, Curtis Puryear, Janelle Daniels, Michael Flores, Jr. Amanda Burke, Brandon Flores, Brittney Nichole Garza, Ashley Rae Garza, Johnathan Andrew Gaytan and Francisco Lopez.

12 Great-grandchildren.

Brothers, Calixto Flores and Serapio Flores.

Also surviving him are nieces, nephews, numerous other  relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, located at 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. A Rosary will be led at 11:00 a.m. by Mary Flores and Patsy Sosa, A Liturgy of the Word will follow and officiated at 11:30 a.m. by Rev. Deacon Frank Idrogo. Committal Services and interment will be held at a later date in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
