EDUARDO "PANCHO" RAMIREZ Eduardo "Pancho" Ramirez, age 69, entered into eternal rest on June 6, 2015, while a patient at Laredo Specialty Hospital. Mr. Ramirez was a life-long resident of Laredo. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. Eduardo was a passionate man who enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle, and friend to all. Mr. Ramirez is preceded in death by his parents, Venancio and Isabel E. Ramirez and his brother, Sergio Ramirez. Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Rosa M. Ramirez; daughter, Esmeralda Ramirez; grand-son, Erick J. Vargas; son, Eduardo (Brenda) Ramirez Jr; grand-daughter, BreAnna Ramirez; and grand-sons, Mike and Leo Ramirez. Also surviving Mr. Ramirez are his siblings: Venancio (Maria) Mota, Filiberto (Juana) Ramirez, San Juana Lopez, Isabel (Juan) Salas and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. E. Carlos Canova, Dr. Benson Y. Huang, St. Benedict Home Health, DNA Home Health Services, and Ana Maria Esquinca, his care-giver. The family will be receiving friends, Friday, June 12, 2015, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave, where a holy rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 13, 2015, departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. The Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
