EDWIN F. WOO Edwin F. Woo, 74, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Woo was born in San Antonio, Texas and had been a life long resident of Laredo, Texas. He was once the proud owner of the Oriental Kitchen. He is preceded by his first wife Maria de La Luz Woo, February 1, 1998. Brother, Foon Foo Woo. Mr. Woo is survived by his wife, Marcella D. Woo. Children, Edward J. (Eliza) Woo, Linda Woo, Ivan (Patty) Zavala, Melissa (Juan Carlos) Andaverde, Arturo (Ofelia) Sanchez, Marcella (Carlos) Everett, Adrian Sanchez, Ricardo (Monica) Sanchez, Juan Carlos Sanchez, Jose Luis (Veroinca) Sanchez, Brenda (Francisco Javier) Rios, Benito (Faviola) Sanchez, Jorge (Maricela) Sanchez, Rodrigo Andaverde. Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters, Kong Foo Woo, Leion Foo Woo, Laibit Woo, Lit Woo, Lijean Woo. Also surviving are his nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from to 4 to 9 p.m. and a Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A chapel service will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013 in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will immediatley follow in the City of Laredo Cemetery.
