ELENA CHAPA Elena Chapa, 84, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in a local hospital. Ms. Chapa was born in Cuero, Texas and had been a life long resident of Laredo, Texas. She is survived by her children, Rosendo (Sylvia) Rocha, Juan (Sylvia) Rocha, Dolores Rocha Jose Chapa, Gilberto (Peggy) Chapa, Roberto (Andrea) Chapa. Graciela Saenz, Alberto (Leticia) Chapa, Humberto (Maria) Chapa. 35 Grandchildren and 36 Great-Grandchildren Sisters: Matilde Colorado Mendez, Esperanza Colorado Garcia We would like to send our special gratitude for the care of our mother to the following: Laredo Specialty Hospital, Dr. Carlos Casa, Dr. Gilberto Garza Lozano. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m.and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
