ELENA MARTINEZ

Elena Martinez, 86, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

Mrs. Martinez was born in San Geronimo, Jalisco, Mexico and was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Socorro Salcedo.
Her beloved husband, Gregorio Martinez.
Brother, Francisco Salcedo.
Sister, Bertha Lopez.
She is survived by her children, Gregorio (Guadalupe) Martinez Jr., Margarita (Jorge) Gallardo, Rosa Elena Martinez, Elvira (Gabriel) Garza, Guadalupe Martinez, Jesus (Sonia) Martinez and Juan Jose Martinez.
13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Brother, Juan Salcedo.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . A religious service was held in the funeral home chapel before departing for committal services and interment which followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Jesus Martinez, Gabriel Garza, Luis Carlos Gallardo, Daniel Gallardo, Levi Martinez, Jorge Gallardo Jr. and Taylor Hepner.
