ELEUTERIA M. GOMEZ Eleuteria M. Gomez, 83, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at a local hospital. Mrs. Gomez ws born in Dolores, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo for sometime. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cresencio and Eleuteria Moran. Husband, Julio Gomez Sr. Son, Julio Gomez Jr. Brother, Faustino Moran. Sister, Jesusita T. Zamora. She is survived by her children, Oralia G. (Hector) Aguilar, David (Alicia) Gomez and Arturo (Rosalinda) Gomez. Loved as her son, Mario Leal. 12 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren Sister, Isabel M.(Arturo) Reyes. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of the ICU at Laredo Medical Center, and very special gratitude to Nurse Abigail. Also to Dr. Orces and Dr. Nimchan for their special care and loving attention. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
