ELEUTERIO RANGEL SR.
"Our Beloved dad, grandfather, brother and uncle, who enjoyed sitting outside, listening to his music and spending time with his grandkids and also enjoyed painting. He was a reliable person who would go out of his way to help anyone when needed. Family was important to him, especially his grandkids. He will be loved and greatly missed. We love you Papi."
Eleuterio Rangel Sr., 62, was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamp., Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ramona Garza and Pasqual Ortiz.
Parents, Hilario Rangel and San Juana Ortiz De Rangel.
Nephew, Jorge Javier Rangel Jr. and Roel Rangel.
Niece, Leonor Rangel.
Sister, Esperanza Zamora.
Brothers, Jose Hilario Rangel and Jorge Javier Rangel.
He is survived by his children, Yvette Rangel, Belinda Rangel, Eleuterio (Karina) Rangel and Lorena Rangel (Ivan Perez Jr.)
Siblings, Maria del Rosario Rangel, Ramona Rangel, Esther (Jesus) Perez, San Juanita (Oscar) Coronado, Margarita (Santiago) Muñoz, Judge Ricardo (Maria Elena) Rangel, Claudia (Armando) Mejia, Ramiro (Monica) Rangel and Marina (Isidro) Ramirez.
8 granddaughters and 1 grandson.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
