ELIAS GARZA JR. Elias Garza, Jr., 79, son of Elias and Sara Garza (deceased) entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 6, 2014 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Garza was born in Oilton, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for some time. He will always be remembered with love by his beloved family. His wife, Socorro, his sons and daughters-in-law, Elias, III. and Terry, Ruben and Susie, grandchildren, Elias IV, Erica, Ryan and Erick. He is also survived by his sisters and brother, Nydia Sanderfur, Olga (Bill) Katzenberger, Alfonzo Garza and his beloved niece, Darla Salazar, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church at 1602 Garcia St. in Laredo, Texas. PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Elias Garza, III., Ruben Garza, Elias Garza, IV., Roy Arriaga, Andy Vera, Ricky Garza, Rene Arriaga, Allen Gonzalez, Bill Katzenberger and David Cortez. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. officiated by Rev. Deacon Hector D. Hernandez. Committal services and interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas will full military honors provided by the United States Army Honor Guard out of Fort Sam Houston.
