ELIDA S. DE ANDA Elida S. De Anda, 63, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 in a local hospital. Mrs. De Anda was born in Guerrero, Mexico and had been a life long resident of Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by his parents, Bernardo and Antonia Salinas. Brother, Leonardo Salinas. Special Grandson, Bernardo Salinas. She is survived by her spouse, Benito Martinez. Children, Rito Javier (Sara Alicia) De Anda, Leonardo (Sonia) De Anda and Antonia Isabel De Anda. Special Grandson, Miguel Angel Salinas. 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. 5 brothers, Guadalupe Salinas, Rafael (Maria) Salinas, Bernardo Salinas, Juan Jose Salinas and Ruben (Griselda) Salinas. Sister, Eva (Felipe) Hernandez. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
